When I posted my first HNT picture eleven weeks ago, I was so nervous! I was worried about what your reaction would be, but more worried about the reaction of my family. Crazy really, because I only revealed my back and shoulders! But as you know, the weeks have flown by, and each picture I’ve put up has been more daring than the last. And that’s down to the support and encouragement I’ve received from you all. Even my family, who I thought wouldn’t be keen on the idea, have shown their interest and encouraged me all the way. HNT has been a topic of discussion every Wednesday in my house with my Mum, bless her, and she’s been the brains behind some of the ideas. (Thanks Mum x)
But now I’ve reached the stage where, to be honest, I don’t actually feel ‘half-nekkid’ when I put them up. You’ve all made me feel so comfortable about doing it, that the fear has disappeared. Also, you’ve given me so many wonderful comments that I don’t want you all to start repeating yourselves here! You’ve seen quite a lot of my bare flesh and there’s only so many angles I can capture myself in without it becoming boring.
So, this will be my last ‘body shot’.
I’ve been thinking about what I can do on Thursdays instead, because I still want to participate. I think, for me, half- nekkid means doing something or revealing something which makes me feel a bit vulnerable -showing you all a side of me which you wouldn’t normally get to see. A few days ago, a fellow blogger asked to see some of my writing, and sending that out made me feel more naked than walking down the street in the nude! So perhaps I’ll show you some words. Perhaps a picture of the the ‘natural’ Miss U in her home environment, as she goes about her day. I’ll just take each Thursday as it comes.
So, for my final ‘body picture’, there was only one place left to go! And that was to put one up which is going to make me feel exactly the same way as the very first one did. So (eeeek!) Happy HNT!!
